Patna: In Bihar Assembly elections 2020, the Bhore assembly constituency is going to face tough competition this time. In the 2015 assembly elections, the Congress won the seat. Anil Kumar of the Congress is the current MLA of Bhore. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had suffered a defeat from the seat. Anil Kumar from Bhore assembly constituency in Bihar won the 2015 assembly elections by 14871 votes. BJP's Indradev Manjhi had suffered a defeat in the 2015 election. While Anil once again won the Congress ticket, voting was held on November 3, 2020. The Lok Janshakti Party has fielded Pushpa Devi from this seat. Sunil Kumar Chanavi from JDU is in the fray. 53.54% voting has been recorded. The counting is now underway. The Bhore assembly is located in Gopalganj district of Bihar. According to the 2011 census, 95.43% of the total population is rural and 4.57% is urban. Out of the total population, the ratio of Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STS) is 14.27 and 3.31 respectively. According to the 2019 electoral roll, there are 336649 voters and 366 polling stations in this constituency.
