Patna: Bihar NDA- JD (U) alliance Chief Minister Nitish Kumar directed all district magistrates to inspect child shelter homes and women shelter homes in the state following the Muzaffarpur Shelter Home sexual assault case. He also ordered that adequate security arrangements should be made at the shelter homes, as the leading news agency ANI reported. Addressing a Press conference, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar said that Government will take over shelter homes and this will help in better monitoring. ‘We are concerned about such incidents”, said Nitish Kumar.In his press address CM Kumar also took on The Rashtriya Janata Dal and several other opposition parties and criticized the way that shown by their leaders in the candle march protest at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi led by former Bihar deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav where Congress president Rahul Gandhi, AAP superemo and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal lent a support to RJD leader on Saturday. In The alleged sexual exploitation of minors at a shelter home in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur state run shelter home mounted pressure on chief minister Nitish Kumar where he was demanded that the prime accused Brajesh Thakur be “hanged till death”. “If someone related to the Minister is involved, they won't be spared. But why is this issue being raised only now. We had called her & she denied any involvement.
