Bihar Conducted 10th Boards With Full Security,18 Lakh Students Appeared For The Exam

With all the major boards across the nation releasing their Class 10, Class 12 datasheet, it is expected that Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will be conducting the biggest level of board examination in the state's history.

While keeping in view the massive cheating case of Class 12 arts topper from Bihar who wrote about cooking in her political science and her classmate, a science topper, couldn't explain the connection between H2O and water, the board will ensure high-level security at the examination center.

For the first time, the board will evaluate the copies digitally.

Candidates appearing for board exams this year: As per latest reports, for Class 10 and Class 12 around 30.2 lakh candidates are expected to appear As of now, a total of 30.08 lakh forms have been filled Meanwhile, with the late fee charge, still, two days are left to fill up class 10 application forms. Class 12 registrations: For class 12 board examinations, as many as 12, 56,507 candidates have filled the examination form It is expected that the number of students appearing for Class 12 board exams this year has increased by more than a lakh as compared to last year. Class 10 registrations: As of now, 17, 51,586 students have filled the application forms Out of the total applications, 13, 38,070 applications are from regular and privately enrolled students.

Last year, the BSEB Class 12 examination was held between February 24 and March 4, 2016.

About BSEB:

The Bihar School Examination Board is established for holding and conducting an examination at the end of the Secondary School stage, for prescribing the course of studies for such examination and for carrying out such other objects and duties as may be considered necessary for the purpose as stated in the Act, Rules and Regulations of the Board.

Normally, every year the Bihar School Examination Board conducts Annual Secondary School Examination in the month of February/March and Supplementary School Examination in the month of August/September on the basis of course/syllabus as prescribed by the state government.

Apart from the aforesaid Secondary School Examination, the Board also conducts departmental examinations (not on yearly basis) such as Diploma in Physical Education, Certificate in Physical Education and Teachers Training Examination on such terms and condition as laid down by the State Government.
