Patna: In Bihar, the number of corona infected cases has reached 9117. On Sunday, 138 new cases of Corona have been revealed. Among the newly found cases, maximum 39 cases have been reported from Bhagalpur. According to information received from the Health Department, 20 from Patna, Bihar, 12 from Jehanabad, 9 from Begusarai, 8 from Aurangabad, 7-7 cases from Munger and Nawada, 6-6 from Rohtas and Gaya, 5 from Sheikhpura, 4 from Samastipur , 3–3 cases have been reported from Kaimur and Arwal, 2–2 from Gopalganj, Jamui and Madhubani, 1–1 from Sitamarhi and Shivhar.
Lokesh Kumar Singh, Secretary of the Health Department, has told that 189 people have been cured in the last 24 hours. He has told that, so far a total of 6,669 corona infected patients have returned home from the hospital after recovering fully, which is 77% of the total infected patients. Now there are 1,885 active cases of corona infection in 38 districts of Bihar.
He told that, so far a total of 1 lakh 89 thousand 643 samples have been tested. On Thursday, 7,906 samples were tested and testing capacity is being increased continuously. Additional Director General of Police Jitendra Kumar said that from June 1, the new guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) are being complied with. Since June 1, a total of 26 FIRs have been registered and 66 people have been arrested.
