Bihar: Minister Ashok Chowdhary on Monday paid a surprise visit to a school in Dihri block in Buxur district. The school is called the Dihri High School and is on the Buxur-Bhabua border. Chowdhary paid this surprise visit while he was returning from personal visit to Vindhyachal.
Chowdhary who stopped at this school caught the school administration by surprise. The minister immediately started the inspection of the school.
During the inspection Ashok Chowdhary went inside Class 10 classroom where the fifth period was on and the teacher, Jai Prakash Yadav was teaching Hindi to the students.
The minister sat in the class along with the students and spent about ten minutes with the students and teacher and got a first-hand experience of the standard of teachers in Bihar and also the standard of education system in the state.
Then the minister went to Class 9 where the students were being taught Maths by teacher Shankar Prasad.
Chowdhary spent some time in that class as well. During his surprise visit to this school, Ashok Chowdhary spent a good 30 minutes to get the ground reality of the school and teachers.
