Gaya: yesterday was the last day of Pitripaksha Fair and there was a huge rush of pilgrims on the river Falgu. Pitra is the day of Amasya. It is also called Mahalaya. Millions of people from all over the country and abroad had reached Gaya for the surrender, who surrendered their fathers for the attainment of salvation. Local priest Badrinath Pandey said that on the last day of Pitrupaksha Mela, ancestors get salvation by offering them with water from the river Phalgu. Not only pilgrims from India and abroad, but the residents of Gaya city also offer their ancestors on the last day. Due to which the fathers get salvation. However, due to torrential rains for 3 days, the water level of Falgu river has increased a lot. From the east to the west coast, due to the arrival of water in the river Falgu, devotees are working the ritualistic rituals.
