Patna: In a government school in Bihar's Saran district, 36 children fell ill due to lizards being found in the mid-day meal. Actually, this lizard was found in a student's plate, after which the children got scared. The incident happened on Thursday (May 18) when children were being served mid-day meal at a government school in Saran district. During this, a lizard was found in the plate of a student. After which the student immediately informed the teacher in charge, after which the school stopped serving mid-day meal to the students. About 36 students who were consuming the mid-day meal suddenly fell ill. On the complaint of ill health, the students were immediately taken to Sadar Hospital, where the condition of the children is being told out of danger. Doctor Santosh of Sadar Hospital has informed that 36 students were brought to the hospital on the complaint of deteriorating health. After treatment, the health of all 36 students is now stable and out of danger. The district administration got the news of the children being sick. On information, SDM Sanjay Kumar reached the hospital to know the condition of the students. On the incident, SDM Sanjay Kumar said that 40 students had eaten mid-day meal in a government school in Saran district, out of which 36 students fell ill.
