Patna: Police have caught 12 people during a liquor party in Patna, the capital of Bihar. It was reportedly a birthday party that was taking place at a private hotel in Patna's Budha Colony police station area. There was a stampede around seeing the police suddenly arrived at the hotel. People were dancing to loud music here under the influence of alcohol. Police have arrested 12 people, including children, four times. The high profile party, which is being held in various rooms of the hotel, was reportedly attended by people from the political world to business classes. All were swaying under the influence of alcohol. The bar balas were also drunk and licensed weapons along with several liquor bottles were recovered by the police from the hotel room. A youth arrested by the police is said to be the son of a well-known doctor from Chhapra. While one person has been the chief candidate from Madhora in Chhapra. He has been jailed for gang rape in the past. Some of the arrested are said to be close to Bahubali MLA in the locality. Police are interrogating the accused. The Buddha Colony police station in Patna had received a tip-off that a birthday celebration was underway at the Green Forest Hotel. There is also wine being served amidst the dance of bar balas on Bhojpuri songs. A team of Budha Colony police station raided the hotel around 2pm on Thursday when it was reported. Suddenly there was a stampede at the hotel when they saw the police. Police have registered a case against all of them and arrested them.
