Hajipur: Police are taking swift action in the case of burning a 20-year-old girl alive in Hajipur, Bihar. In this case, the police has arrested the main accused named Chandan. Police are scrambling from place to place in search of the remaining two accused. Seeing the matter growing, the new deputy CM of the state Renu Devi has ordered a high-level inquiry. Renu Devi has said that the accused will not be spared under any circumstances. An SHO has been suspended on charges of negligence. On the other hand, after the assurance of the police, the victim's family has cremated her. The family members of the victim staged a protest at Kargil Chowk in Patna on 15 November. A 20-year-old girl was burnt alive for opposing molestation in Hajipur, Bihar. The incident came to light from Rasulpur Habib of Desari police station. Some boys in the village set kerosene on the girl and set her on fire after a dispute over molestation. The victim was undergoing treatment at PMCH in Patna, where she died 15 days later. The girl's family alleges that when they complained of molesting, the overbearing boy along with two of his accomplices caught her from the house and burnt her alive. On Monday, 15 days after the incident, she died in PMCH Hospital in Patna.
