Bharat Bandh: RJD workers hit streets on protest in Bihar

Darbhanga: In protest against the three agricultural laws recently passed by the Central government, farmers who are protesting all over the country have declared a Bharat Bandh today. The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has supported the farmer-called Bharat Bandh in Bihar. In many districts of Bihar, RJD workers have been trying to make the bandh successful by taking to the streets since morning.

In this series, young RJD president Rakesh Nayak came to the road with party workers in Darbhanga in Bihar and protested in the cold weather at the income tax intersection. Ardently, RJD activists shouted slogans against the policies of the Central government and demanded the withdrawal of all three agricultural laws. During this time, the protesters completely blocked the traffic. Earlier in the morning, Communist Party of India (CPI) ML activists staged a furious demonstration at Lahariyasarai railway station with the banner poster stopping the Sealdah Jayanagar Ganga Sagar Express.

The Bharat Bandh of farmers is supported by many small big parties including CPI-ML, RJD, Congress, RLSP, Jan Adhikar Party in Darbhanga.
