Birthday Of Iconic Singer: Kailash Kher

Kailash Kher is an Indian singer and composer of music. He was born on July 7, 1973. His music is influenced by Sufi and Indian folk music, and he sings songs in that style. Pandit Kumar Gandharva, Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, and the Qawwali singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan were all classical musicians that influenced him.

In 2017, Kailash Kher was given the Padma Shri honor by the Indian government. Along with numerous other nominations, he has also won two Filmfare Awards for Best Male Playback Singer: one for the Hindi film Fanaa (2006) and one for the Telugu film Mirchi (2013). Kher has become one of the most well-known playback singers in India thanks to his strong voice and distinctive musical taste.

Kher was born to a Kashmiri family on July 7, 1973, in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. His father, Mehar Singh Kher, was a well-known folk musician. Kher's early years were when he first encountered music. He was raised in a musical environment and was attracted and fascinated by music from his school days on. He used to listen to his father's Indian folk melodies every day. Kher showed innate musical skill at the age of four and would frequently dazzle friends and family by belting out songs with his ear-piercingly loud voice.

An institution to further his musical training, and he embarked on years of classical and folk music study. According to him, "It was because I wanted to pursue my passion for music. It required me to stay in isolation". He also attended music classes and would teach students for just ₹150 per session to maintain himself, taking care of all his expenses from lodging to food, plus his education and musical expenses. Although he couldn't find the right guru or a school, Kher started learning music by listening to it. He listened to Indian classical singers. 

Kher had to struggle to get a chance in Bollywood. He got an opportunity to sing a song for the movie Andazz In this movie, his song "Rabba Ishq Na Hove" became more popular. His song "Allah ke Bande" from the obscure movie Waise bhi hota hsi II became very popular and this song made him a popular singing star in Bollywood.

Kher is one of the most versatile singers in the industry. His high-pitched voice is perfect for Sufi songs, but he isn't restricted to that one genre of music only. He has also sung many Bollywood numbers.
