The batswoman born on 20 May 1977 made her international debut in 1995 against New Zealand in an ODI played at Christchurch. In her career, Anjum has played 12 Test matches where she has scored 548 runs at an average of 30.44 which includes four half-centuries and highest of 98. She played 127 ODIs for the Indian women's team and scored 2,856 runs at an average of 31.38. She also has a century and 18 half-centuries to her name. Anjum Chopra is the first Indian woman to score a century for India. She is the first woman to play a hundred ODIs for India.
