Patna: After the seat-sharing of the Mahagathbandhan, an announcement can be made about the stake in the NDA today. According to sources, the deal regarding seat-sharing between BJP and JDU has been finalized. According to the information, Nitish Kumar has finally had to bow before the BJP and now he has agreed to share the seat under the 50:50 formula. Nitish Kumar has been adamant for many days that JDU will contest more seats than BJP, but eventually he had to give up his stubbornness. As per the fixed formula, JDU will contest on 122 seats and BJP in 121 seats. The JDU was also staking claim to many traditional seats of the BJP, but now they have also given up this demand. Nitish Kumar's party will give seats from its quota to Jitan Ram Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha (us), while the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) will get seats from its share. But the big question is that BJP will give LJP seat from its quota only if Chirag Paswan remains part of NDA. For the last few days, Chirag Paswan has shown very sharp attitude regarding seat sharing and he has also indicated to fill up 143 seats alone.
