BJP government ruined the economy, says Rahul Gandhi

NEW DELHI: Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader, accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of damaging the country's economy, which had been "strengthened" by the previous UPA government.

He further charged that the BJP and Prime Minister Modi want to build two Hindustans, one for the rich and select two-three businessmen and the other for Dalits, farmers, the poor, and the disadvantaged, at a rally in Rajasthan's Banswara district. He claimed that the Congress wants only one Hindustan.

"The BJP government has attacked our economy," the Congress leader stated, referring to the government's handling of the economy and the issue of unemployment. PM demonetized the currency and introduced GST incorrectly, causing the economy to collapse. The UPA strove to build the economy, but Narendra Modi has done the opposite."  He also accused the ruling party at the Centre of wanting to "create two Hindustans, while we want one Hindustan." This is the country's battle".
