Political violence did not stop in Bengal, now BJP leader shot dead, TMC accused

Kolkata: Political violence is not taking its name amidst the assembly elections to be held in West Bengal and a 32-year-old local BJP leader was shot dead in Haringhata area of Nadia district of West Bengal. Police has given information about this. The injured BJP leader is the booth head of the party in ward number ten of Harringhata Municipality.

SP VSR Anantnag told that, 'When we stopped the car near the tea shop in Santoshpur, near National Highway 12, at around 2.30 pm during patrolling, we saw that some people were sitting on the ground, but after we came a person All but escaped. On the occasion Sanjay Das met in an injured state and was admitted to the hospital. He told that Sanjay Das has been shot by a group man, who is on his waist. He is undergoing treatment and is out of danger.

The BJP has accused the Trinamool Congress (TMC) of being behind this incident. However, the ruling party in the state has denied this. TMC has claimed that the incident happened after a scuffle between members from the group, who are associated with the BJP. The father of the BJP leader has filed a police complaint, in which many people have been made accused. He said that his son has told him that a man of the group had fired after a debate on political issues.
