BJP likely to release Delhi MCD poll manifesto on Nov 25

NEW DELHI: Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is expected to release its manifesto for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) election on Friday, November 25, focusing on 20 key pledges.

The Delhi BJP has covered all of the key commitments, including the landfill issue, health concerns, etc.,  sources said. "Twenty points make up our manifesto. These are the main commitments made to every segment of society. We have worked in the past and will work in the future,"said sources.

"By 2025, they will have resolved the landfill issue, as the Delhi BJP had pledged. We will make that location a beneficial one. We also promised to open dispensaries in all jhuggi districts. These dispensaries will assist these folks, with an emphasis on keeping their health at the forefront "the source was informed.

"We added a new point about financial support for new businesses. This will encourage young people to start more small businesses. Similarly, the manifesto contains 17 further pledges, including "It read.

The Delhi BJP is trying its hardest to win the MCD poll for a fourth time.

On December 4, 250 municipal seats will be up for election; and result will be announced on December 7.
