Hyderabad: BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri has accused the Telangana TRS government of providing voter ID cards to Bangladeshi and Rohingya intruders. Dharmapuri is an MP from Nizamabad in Telangana. On 22 March, he said in the Lok Sabha that the TRS government was giving voter cards, passports, and other important documents to illegal Bangladeshi Rohingya migrants. He also said that riots are happening in the state due to these intruders. In the Lok Sabha, Dharmapuri said that his constituency Nizamabad became a stronghold of anti-India activities. According to him, 72 Rohingya intruders have obtained Indian passports. Of these, 32 have been received at the same address at Bodhan in Nizamabad. According to reports, during the preliminary investigation, it was revealed that these illegal Rohingya intruders also have Aadhaar cards in West Bengal. In February 2021, it was discovered that out of 500 passports issued in Telangana in the last five years, 72 were obtained on fake papers. At Shamshabad International Airport, when the three people could not properly answer the questions of immigration officials, this fraud was noticed by the authorities.
