Madhya Pradesh BJP MP Nand Kumar Singh Chauhan believes that crime has increased against the youth due to smartphones and the Internet. It is easy for the youth to access the internet and smartphones, because of which they see pornographic content in the phone. As a result, children's mind gets attached to negative things. When he was asked why the cyber cell of the police is not working against the movement of pornographic videos and pictures, Chauhan said that the police can not checks mobile of every single person. It is worth mentioning that former BJP state president Nand Kumar Singh Chauhan has already been in the discussion due to his statement on the Kathua incident. On the Kathua gang rape, he said that there was a lot of criticism after this statement that Pakistan had a hand in it. Congress spokesperson Manak Agrawal said that the rise in criminal cases against women is mainly due to the failure of the state government, and the Internet and smartphone have nothing to do with it. Agrawal said “The government has failed to instil fear among criminals. Police do not take action and there is no control over law and order situation.
