New Delhi: After the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced 10 guarantees for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD elections), the BJP today launched another major target on the AAP over the liquor scam. BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra has termed AAP as the most corrupt party in the country. Patra has said that those who are guaranteed, what can they guarantee? Patra said that there was a huge scam in the excise policy and the state exchequer suffered a loss of about Rs 2,631 crore when this whole matter started coming out as a scam and the CBI investigation started on it, it came out that 140 mobiles were changed to erase digital evidence. Patra said that as soon as the CBI investigation started, these 140 mobile phones were changed and destroyed by 34 people, including accused number one Manish Sisodia, for the purpose of erasing digital evidence. Patra further said that the Delhi government had made its excise policy public on July 5, 2021, but a copy of the policy was leaked to Manish Sisodia's friends on May 31, 2021, which included manufacturers and businessmen. In this case, two businessmen have also been arrested. A bribe of Rs 100 crore was taken from these two businessmen and their companies as advance payment. During this, Sambit Patra said that taking a dig at 'AAP', he said which party had said while taking charge of Delhi that we will fight against corruption. Today, if seen all over India, the same party has emerged as a staunchly corrupt party and the most dishonest party. Let me tell you that, whatever claims Sambit Patra has made about AAP and Manish Sisodia, their basis is the report of the Enforcement Directorate (ED). In fact, the ED had produced arrested Binoy Babu, Delhi regional head of French liquor company Pernod Ricard, and P Sarath Chandra Reddy, director of Aurobindo Pharma Limited, in the PMLA court, during which the ED had told the court about taking a bribe of Rs 100 crore and erased the digital whole by changing mobile phones. Now Patra has surrounded the AAP over the same disclosure of ED.
