BJP wins vapi municipal elections

Ahmedabad: The results of municipal elections in Vapi in Gujarat have been declared. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won a landslide victory in the Vapi municipality elections. The BJP has won 37 seats in the municipal elections. The Congress has also gone up to three to seven seats. However, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has suffered a severe setback. Kejriwal's party could not even open an account.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has taken back power in vapi municipality with a big victory. In the last election, 41 out of 44 seats in Vapi went to the BJP. But this time it didn't happen. While the Congress won only three seats in the last election, this time the party has captured seven seats. The BJP has suffered a loss of four seats.

Talking about the landslide victory in the Vapi municipal elections, Finance Minister Tanu Desai of the Bhupendra Patel government in Gujarat said it is a victory for the hard work of the workers. On the other hand, the Congress party has once again failed to gain power in vapi municipality. It is a relief for the Congress that even though the party suffered a setback in the elections, this time the party will get the status of leader of the opposition.
