Protesters themselves revealed the secret about information of PM's route

Amritsar: PM Narendra Modi's convoy had to stay on a flyover for nearly 20 minutes due to protesters in Ferozepur, Punjab yesterday, but the PM returned after seeing things not improving. It was a major lapse in their safety. Since then, the question has been raised as to how the protesters have finally come to know about PM Modi's sudden change of road journey. Now, a Kisan Sangh leader has made a big claim that the SSP of Ferozepur himself informed him about it.

Talking to the media, Baldev Singh Jeera, State General Secretary, Bharatiya Kisan Union Revolutionary (BKU) said, "At first we thought SSP was saying this to disperse us. If we had known that the PM was really going on those paths, our response would have been different. After all, he is our Prime Minister. We had gathered there to stop BJP vehicles going to the Prime Minister's rally, Jeera added.

Jeera further said that we were demonstrating on the bridge over the nullah near Pierrena village on Ludhiana-Ferozepur highway. The SSP of Ferozepur had come to inform us that the Prime Minister was going on this road. We had asked BJP trains to take alternative routes for the rally to avoid our protest. We thought the Prime Minister would arrive by helicopter. Later we came to know from media reports that the PM was stuck in traffic jams and returned due to our protest. Surjit Singh Phool, President of BKU Krantikari, is completely opposite to the statement of the General Secretary of his own organization, Baldev Zeera.

What did Surjit Singh, president of BKU revolutionary say?

Surjit Singh Phool has thanked those who blocked the Prime Minister's path.  Now, BKU revolutionary leader Surjit Singh Phool has released a video thanking the workers of the organisation. In this video, Surjit Singh says, "Today, in village Rattakhera, BKU revolutionary members blocked the road just 10-11 km away from Modi's rally, faced all kinds of difficulties, endured threats from BJP leaders, blocked the road, we evacuated the BJP people from the middle of the water. All the workers deserve congratulations on this.''
