“Bollywood is all set to ruin historic character”, Akshay Kumar brutally trolled for his Shivaji looks

Akshay Kumar is one of the renowned actors in Bollywood. After giving various big blockbusters he is all set to for his Marathi debut by a film based on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, ‘Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat’. Akshay Kumar will be seen making his Marathi debut with the movie. He took to Instagram and shared a video that unveiled his total transformation as Shivaji Maharaj. But its look like fans are not satisfied with his look.

As soon as it caught the eyes of people they started trolling Akshay Kumar. One user wrote, “Shivaji Maharaj ruled from 1674 to 1680. Thomas Edison invented light bulb in 1880. This is Akshay Kumar playing Shivaji.” Another wrote, “Samrat Prithviraj mein jo thodi si kami reh gayi thi usse ab Akshay Kumar Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ka role play karke poori karenge”.

Third one wrote, “After ruining Prithviraj Chauhan, Akshay Kumar and Bollywood is all set to ruin another historic character, and this time it is Shivaji Maharaj. Bollywood should be banned from making movies on historical characters!” Fourth one wrote, "There are many things wrong with Akshay Kumar playing Shivaji Maharaj. For starters Shivaji Maharaj passed away when he was 50. Akshay is 55. Could they not have found a Marathi-speaking actor with good acting skills to play him?"

 

Akshay Kumar recently sharing the photos and wrote, "Aaj Marathi film Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat ki shooting kar raha hoon, jisme Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ji ki bhoomika kar paana mere liye saubhagya hain. Mein unke jeevan se prerna le kar aur maa Jijau ke ashirwad se mera prayas karoonga. Aashirwad banaye rakhiyega (today I begin the shoot of Marathi film Vedat Marathe Veer Daudale Sat in which I am blessed to be able to play the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ji. I will try to take inspiration from his life as well as the blessings of Mother Jijau for it! Send us your blessings).”

The Marathi film also stars Jay Dudhane, Utkarsha Shinde, Vishal Nikam, Virat Madke, Hardik Joshi, Satya, Akshay, Nawab Khan, and Praveen Tarde. Vedat Marathe Veer Daudale Saat, which is produced by Vaseem Qureshi, will release in theatres on Diwali 2023 in Marathi, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
