The Bombay High Court today heard Shilpa Shetty's defamation claim against several media houses. The High Court asked Shilpa Shatty's advocate how it was wrong if the media was running any news quoting sources. The high court told Shilpa Shetty's advocate that there is a serious case against the husband of your client. Further, the high court said, the matter is being covered by the media. The media in India has every freedom to publish and show news. The High Court will not do anything to influence the freedom of the media. That is, the High Court will not interfere in the matter. Whoever your client is. There is a certain law on defamation. The court works under that. Meanwhile, in another update, the Mumbai Sessions Court will also pronounce its order on Raj Kundra's anticipatory bail plea in the Maharashtra cyber department case on August 2.
