Bookmarks feature shown in the Twitter Android Beta app

Twitter reported in October that the company is launching a bookmark feature to use tweets in the future. Now it seems that social media giant is testing the feature on the Android smartphone. At the beginning, where we named this feature as Save For Later, it has now been changed to bookmarks. In November, the company had said that the testing of this feature has started. According to the latest update, it is clear that Twitter remains with this name and this feature is designed to facilitate the user. So that the user can mark the tweet privately for personal use.

A report from Google reports said that the bookmarks feature was seen in Twitter's Android App version 7.29. However, we could not see this feature while we were also using this version. The report says, "Clicking on the drop-down menu in the top right corner of each tweet will see the new" Tweet Add Bookmarks "option. And this will be the first option in this menu. A snack bar will appear to confirm this action.

"The report further states that the bookmarks feature can be accessed from the navigation drawer located below the Moments tab. Twitter had announced in October 2017 that the company is working on a new feature to save the tweet. Twitter's Head of Product Keith Coleman revealed that a new feature #SaveForLater is being developed.

Tina Koyama, a staff product designer of the company, tweeted, "News from the #SaveForLater team! We have decided to name our feature as 'Bookmarks' because it is usually used to save content and its name fits in with the other features present in the navigation. "

This feature allows users to search for those items will find a separate list that they want to see later. During the disclosure of this feature in October, Twitter's product manager, Jasar Shah, had said that a special demand was being made by the user for this feature. And especially in Japan people asked to bring this feature. Twitter has officially not made any statement about this feature. So now the question is whether the user will have the time limit to save the tweets.
