With the start of annual Jagannath Rath-Yatra, a group of boys from Gujarat's Vadodara city have built up a robotic chariot for Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra. With its members hailing from different communities and backgrounds, the Mahatma Gandhi Youth Organisation has set up an example of communal harmony and peace.
Devotees across the nation are today celebrating the 139th edition of the festival. The celebration ends nine days later with Bahuda Yatra or return journey to their temple, which will take place on July 14.
