Shashi Tharoor gets relief in Sunanda Pushkar death case, free from all cases

New Delhi: Political turmoil in the country has increased over the past few years, meanwhile, a Delhi court has granted relief to Congress leader Shashi Tharoor from all charges in the Sunanda Pushkar death case. According to the report received, after the verdict was pronounced, Shashi Tharoor said, "Thank you very much, your honor." It has been seven and a half years of torture. I admire this decision.

For your information, Sunanda Pushkar was found dead on the night of January 17, 2013, at a five-star hotel in Delhi. After Pushkar's death, her husband Shashi Tharoor was accused of mentally harassing her and inciting her to murder. The Delhi Police had then registered a case against Shashi Tharoor in the case. Pakistani reporter Mehr Tarar was also named in the case.

The former Union Minister could have been sentenced to 3 to 10 years in prison in case of conviction under sections under which Congress leader Shashi Tharoor was convicted by the Delhi police. Tharoor was the main culprit in this case. He is accused of torturing his wife Sunanda Pushkar for dowry and abetment to suicide.
