Government-owned telecom company BSNL has extended its free SIM offer till January 31, 2021. This offer was introduced early in November with a validity date of November 28. Its expiry date was later extended till January 1. On the other hand, BSNL is rationalising its Rs. 186 plan voucher and Rs. 199 special tariff voucher over the next few days. All the users who apply for a new SIM, or who port over to BSNL, will get a SIM card for free – provided their First Recharge Coupon (FRC) is over Rs. 100. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has also announced that it will be also revising its plan of Rs. 186 plan voucher and Rs. 199 special tariff for the Tamil Nadu Circle. The voucher plan of Rs. 186 will now be available at the cost of Rs. 199 and now its validity will be of 30-day instead of 28 days. All features and freebies will remain the same, and the company will bring this into action from January 1, 2021. On the other hand, the special tariff plan of Rs. 199 will now be available at the price of Rs. 201 and this is already in effect. There is no change in the validity, features, or freebies. Recently, BSNL also rationalised its yearly prepaid plan of Rs. 1,999 to offer extended Eros Now subscription. It is bundled with Lokdhun subscription as well, the validity for which has been reduced to offer better validity for Eros Now subscription. All other benefits of this plan will be the same.
