BJP candidate Yuvraj Singh won by 17,771 votes while retaining the Hamirpur seat of Uttar Pradesh. Mani C Kappan of LDF won the Pala seat in Kerala by a margin of 2 thousand votes. BJP candidate won in Tripura's Badharghat seat. Congress is leading in Dantewada seat of Chhattisgarh. It is to be known that 60.1 percent polling has been held in this seat. In the Hamirpur Assembly by-election, Yuvraj Singh of BJP won by 17771 votes. Yuvraj received 74168 votes. Manoj Prajapati of Samajwadi Party with 56397 votes was second. In the 2017 assembly elections here, BJP's Ashok Kumar Singh Chandel won with 110,888 votes. After this, Dr. Manoj Kumar Prajapati was the SP with 62,233 votes. The winning margin of both was 48,655 votes. The LDF has won the Pala assembly seat in Kerala. LDF candidate Mani C Kappan won by 2943 votes. LDF has got 54137 votes, UDF 51194 and NDA 18044 votes on this seat. Dantewada seat of Chhattisgarh BJP was the only seat in Bastar region. Here the wife of two late tribal leaders are face to face.
