CAA: Jamia gave these players to the country who made India proud at global platform

Jamia Millia Islamia, the Central University of the capital Delhi, has been in the news a lot about the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The name of the university is also being hoisted after the clashes and vandalism with the police in Jamia area in protest against the new law and as an administration it is trying to discredit the campus. However, there is no doubt that Jamia has given many eminent people in different areas of the country, who have brought laurels to the country and taken it to the heights.

Virender Sehwag: Where former Indian cricket player and explosive batsman Virender Sehwag made his mark as an opener around the world. Sehwag, the only Indian to score two triple centuries in Test cricket and the second Indian to score a double century in ODIs, has made many records in world cricket. Sehwag, who played the role of commentator and mentor at the time, completed his graduation from Jamia.

Sarpreet Singh: Indian-origin footballer Sarpreet Singh has become the first Indian footballer to play in the Bundesliga Football League. He made his debut in the tournament on behalf of Bayern Munich on Sunday, 15 December 2019. Midfielder Sarpreet completed his studies from Jamia.

Gagan Ajit Singh: Let us tell you that former Indian hockey player Gagan Ajit Singh also completed his studies from Jamia. Gagan, who played a striker in Indian hockey, also participated in the Olympics in the years 2000 and 2004. Star hockey player Gagan also completed his graduation from Jamia.
