Cannes Film Festival helps the homeless, gives people living space in hall

The Cannes Film Festival is now helping people because of Coronavirus. In place of the event, in the Palace de Festival Hall, the institution is giving place to the homeless people to stay. These are the people who have lost their place of residence due to the lockdown between coronaviruses. The festival, which is going to be held from 12 to 23 May, has been postponed till June or July due to the Coronavirus. On Friday, the organizers opened the doors of the hall to the needy.

A Cannes Town Hall official said that every night about 50 to 70 people are staying here. The organizers have also postponed the press conference of the festival to be held on April 16 for the time being.
