CM Amarinder can increase investment in state with these efforts

To promote investment in Madhya Pradesh of Corona epidemic, the Captain Amarinder Singh Government has announced a number of exemptions to industries. These include increasing the duration of legal clearances without inspection. On the instructions of CM, the Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) has issued detailed instructions in its 184th meeting.

A spokesman for the CM office said that this step has been taken to make the process of obtaining legal approval easier in the present situation. These concessions will give investors an incentive for smooth investment in the state. PPCB Chairman Prof. SS Marwaha said that in the wake of the Corona crisis, the time for granting permission for the establishment / running has been extended to 31 March 2021, extending the time of right, registration, and any other necessary clearances.

It was earlier scheduled to be extended by 30 June 2020. He said that only applications with certain conditions will have to be given and no investigation will be done on behalf of the board. Pro. Marwaha said that the approval of the board is necessary to make sure that the rules of environmental regulations are followed. Now, the time for industries to apply for approval under the voluntary declaration scheme (VDS) has been extended till 31 December 2020.
