Sweden's car company launches 402bhp car in India, know price

This season of festivals has started the car launch phase, meanwhile, Sweden's car company Volvo has finally introduced its first fully-electric car XC40 Recharge. Also, the company has launched a new brand recharge for electric vehicles. The new all-electric SUV XC40 Recharge is the first model of the brand's new recharge car line concept and is based on the XC40 SUV. The XC40 Recharge is built on the new Compact Modular Architect (CMA) platform. The electric SUV XC40 Recharge is very similar to the standard XC40 diesel. It has a new white-finished grille upfront, with a Volvo badge. The XC40 Recharge is the first model to come with an iron mark. Like Tesla cars, the XC40 Recharge has frunk (space provided at the front of the car) at the front, with 31 liters of storage space.

It is worth noting that the XC40 Recharge SUV has two 150 kW electric motors on the front and rear axles. Electric motors generate power of around 402 bhp and peak torque of 659 Nm. This is more than double that of the standard XC40. The 2.0-liter diesel engine of the standard XC40 generates 187 bhp of power. Although the Electric XC40 is about 500 kg heavier than the standard model, it can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 4.9 seconds. Electric power is sent to all four wheels through an electric all-wheel drive set-up. The company says that the XC40 Recharge gives a range of 400 km on a single charge. Volvo says that on a fast charger system, the car's battery charges up to 80% in just 40 minutes.
