A Goa-based professor on her facebook post compared mangalsutra to a dog chain was booked under 295-A. The FIR was lodged against Shilpa Singh, assistant professor at VM Salgaocar College of Law. Rajiv Jha, of the Rashtriya Hindu Yuva Vahini filed a complaint in Panaji Town police station. The sources said Singh has also filed a complaint against Jha for repeated 'threats'.
