Aligarh: A case has been registered against about 60-70 unidentified women protesting against CAA-NRC. This incident is from Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh. Opposition to the Citizenship Amendment Act and National Citizenship Register is still going on in many parts of the country. The government does not want to take a step back on this, while the opposition is putting full emphasis on it.

According to media reports, meanwhile, an FIR has been lodged against 60-70 unidentified women protesting against CAA and NRC in Aligarh on Saturday. Circle Officer (CO) of Aligarh Civil Lines Anil Samania has said that some women tried to protest against Section 144 here, after which this action was taken. Significantly, women have been going on a sit-in at Shaheen Bagh in Delhi for more than a month.

Due to this protest, the road to Sarita Vihar and Kalindi Kunj in Delhi has been closed for a month. The Delhi Police has once again urged the protesters to open the way. Demonstrations have started in many districts in Bihar as well. A similar protest is taking place in Allahabad.
