Case filed against SP MP Shafiqur Rahman, gave controversial statement regarding 'Ayodhya'

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya's tweet has raised the political mercury. On the other hand, Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Shafiqur Rahman Barq who made objectionable statements about ram mandir by hitting back at Keshav in the same case has also added to his woes. A complaint has been lodged against him in Delhi.

In fact, responding to Keshav Prasad Maurya's statement that he was "now preparing for Mathura", the SP MP had said, "The temple that has been demolished by demolishing the Babri Masjid has also been against law and justice. Muslims in India are being forcibly suppressed and crushed. Now they are talking about Mathura. If that happens, the Muslims of India will come into the fray. Muslims will also be forced to sit on a protest like farmers. What is the dispute in Mathura? Just as it (Ayodhya) was saying that there is a temple, in the same way, they are telling that too. There is no big controversy but coercion is being done. we are being tortured.'

After which advocate Vineet Jindal has lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police Commissioner over his statement. A case has been sought against Shafiqur Rahman under sections 121, 153, 153 A and other sections of the IPC. In fact, Keshav Maurya had tweeted that construction of grand temples in Ayodhya and Kashi was continuing. Now Mathura is ready. Ayodhya, Mathura, Kashi have been on the agenda of the BJP and the Sangh from the beginning.
