In a bizarre incident, a woman allegedly forged the registration number of industrialist Ratan Tata's car for so-called numerological reasons. A case has been registered against a woman for allegedly tampering with her car’s registration number in Mumbai to make it look like the number plate of industrialist Ratan Tata’s car, Police said. According to an official statement, the e-challan deducted against Tata’s car for violation of traffic rules has been transferred in the name of the woman. He said that the woman molested him to keep the number plate of his choice and he could not find that the number of the car he had changed had become like the number of Tata’s car. Police received a complaint about a car with a forged number plate. The car was captured on the basis of CCTV footage. Police found that the owner of this car is a director of a private company. Investigation revealed that she allegedly tampered with the actual number plate as she wanted to keep the number plate of her choice. Police said a case has been registered against the woman under sections 420 and 465 of the Motor Vehicles Act and investigations are on.
