New Delhi: CBI has filed a charge sheet in the INX Media case. The CBI has accused 14 people, including former finance minister and veteran Congress leader P Chidambaram, in its charge sheet. CBI has also made P Chidambaram's son and Karti Chidambaram an accused. The court will now hear the charge sheet on 21 October.

Earlier on Thursday, the court allowed the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to interrogate Chidambaram by 24 October. Earlier, a court in the capital Delhi on Thursday extended the judicial custody of P Chidambaram till 24 October in the INX Media case. P Chidambaram will remain in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) till then. Along with the ED, Chidambaram's custody has also been increased in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) case.

Chidambaram's remand was demanded by the ED in the court. The ED had said in the court that questioning in custody is necessary for the investigation of the case.
