Fodder scam: CBI files a petition in the top court against the High Court verdict

Patna: The problems of the national president of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and former CM of Bihar Lalu Prasad Yadav can increase again in the case of the much talked about fodder scam in Bihar. In this case, the CBI has filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the decision of the Jharkhand High Court. The CBI in its petition has demanded the cancellation of the order of the High Court.

The Jharkhand High Court had stayed the conviction in Devghar treasury case citing the reason for granting bail on the basis of the half-term of the sentence being passed, but the CBI has filed its petition in the court on Friday against the decision of the Jharkhand High Court. . It is known that in a case related to the fodder scam, Lalu Prasad Yadav is serving a jail term in Ranchi and he is currently undergoing treatment at Ranchi in Rims.

After this petition filed by the Supreme Court of the country, Lalu Prasad's difficulties may increase. Lalu Prasad has been continuously ill since being sentenced and that is why he is admitted in RIMS. Lalu Prasad Yadav was also considered to be instrumental in the victory of the Grand Alliance in the Jharkhand elections.
