CBSE 12 Boards Exam-2021 in July: Most States choose Shorter Duration Exams

Uncertainty over Central Board of Secondary Education and CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2021 are on the go. While many have conceded that CBSE 12th Board Exams would now be conducted in July, the decision, it is suggested, is not final.

Most states have opted to conduct shorter duration Class 12 CBSE board exams and a few have suggested that the students be vaccinated against coronavirus before the exams commence, as per information from the sources.

However, officials of the board had proposed conducting the exams between July 15 and August 26 and the result to be declared in September. The board also suggested two options by which to conduct the exams-- conducting regular exams for only major subjects at notified centres or holding shorter-duration exams at the school where a student is enrolled.

Maharashtra's Education Minister had said that the state is still in favour of the "non examination route". Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Bihar, Karnataka are among the states which have also advocated the second option. Kerala had also raised the vaccination issue in the MoE meeting.
