CBSE 2017: Contact details to solve your queries

The countdown to Maharashtra Board Exam has begun and with clocks ticking fast, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education (MSBSHSE) came out with helpline numbers which will help students in resolving their queries related to board exams.

The helpline numbers will help students in coping with the confusing and fear during and of the board exams

Examination schedule:

HSC: Tuesday, February 28, 2017, to Saturday, March 25, 2017

SSC: Tuesday, March 7, 2017, to Wednesday, March 29, 2017

Few changes in the examination:

Now, candidates will have a gap between science II, history-civics, and geography-economics papers scheduled from March 20 to 22,  2017.

New schedule:

Science II paper to be held on March 20

History-civics paper to be conducted on March 22

Geography-economics on March 25

Helpline details:

According to reports, a group of education experts and counsellors will respond to the students' calls between 8 am to 8 pm during the exam period

The service is available for students and their parents in all nine divisions, i.e. Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Amaravati, Nashik, Konkan and Latur

The counselling service will be available only during the examination period

Experts from press note:

"During examinations, many students start having negative thoughts or suffer from stress… This service has been launched to ensure that if students have any doubts about the exam or need to speak to someone about it, they can call on this number. However, students and their parents are requested to refrain from calling the helpline to inquire about the exam centre, seating arrangement etc."

About MSBSHSE:

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education is an autonomous body established under the provisions of the Maharashtra Act No. 41 of 1965.

The board conducts the HSC and SSC Examinations in the state of Maharashtra through its nine Divisional Boards located in Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur and Ratnagiri. Every year, around 14 lakh candidates appear for HSC exam, whereas 17 lakh candidates appear for SSC examination.
