CBSE and FB start online safety program, Apply this way

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Facebook have jointly started a course on online digital security and online health and augmented reality (AR) for students and teachers. For which the application process has started from today. These courses were announced yesterday by Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank. These courses are specially designed keeping in mind the students of secondary school.

Application forms for this course are being found on the CBSE website CBSE.nic.in. Safety, mental health etc. are included under this course. The course has been designed so that students can identify and report on threats and exploitation on digital. As part of Facebook CBSE Augmented Reality (AR) course, 10,000 teachers will be trained in the first phase, while in the second phase, 30,000 students will be trained.

The process of application for these courses has started from today and will run till July 20. The training program for teachers will start from August 10 and for students this program will start from August 6. On completion of the course, e-certificate will be jointly provided by both the institutions to the participants of this training of CBSE and Facebook. This collaboration of CBSE and Facebook is being led by Facebook for Education, which is a global initiative of Facebook.
