CBSE Board Exam March 2018: Private Candidates can submit the application form.

The Board exam is nearly 3 or 4 months away and the board had begun their online form submission but they also make one significant changes on their policy. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has begun the online submission of application form for candidates placed in the category NIOP (Class X), Fail/Compartment (Class XII) and those who wish to appear for improving their performance or for an additional subject as the Private candidate. Candidates from 2016 and years prior to that will, however, have to submit the details in the online application form. The application process will be complete only after the candidates submit ink signed copy of confirmation page along with enclosures to the concerned Regional Office as per Office address is given in confirmation page. Such candidates who have been placed in compartment in one subject may also apply for appearing in same, passed in five out of their 6 subjects in which he/she had appeared in March 2017 examination. Such candidates should select their category as (FAILURE) while applying online. Any candidate who has passed Board examination can apply for an additional subject from the list of subjects provided on the CBSE website, within six years of passing the examination which means candidates who passed between 2012 and 2017 are eligible to apply. Though Candidates are allowed to take subjects having project component, they cannot apply for a subject involving practical work.
