New Delhi: The central government has taken an important decision to protect the environment. The Modi government at the Centre has decided to completely rein in single-use plastic from July 1. In fact, on Tuesday, the central government announced that control rooms will be set up at the national and state level to ban single-use plastic. A special team will be formed to curb the illegal manufacture, import, storage, distribution and sale of single-use plastic. This has been stated in a statement issued by the Environment Ministry. The Environment Ministry said that states have been told that single-use plastic will not be sent from one state to another. The statement said, "Single-use plastic has a very bad effect on the environment. Marine nature is also affected by it. The increasing pollution due to single-use plastic remains a challenge not only for India but also for many countries.''
