New Delhi: The Union Government is gearing up for a large scale corona vaccination in the country. Work on a detailed scheme has been taken up for the same. During the usual vaccination, hundreds of people are given vaccine doses in a day, but this will not be done during corona vaccination. The government has issued SOP for vaccination. As per the information received, only 100 people will be given vaccine supplements in a day at each vaccination centre. In view of the vaccination campaign, the government will also arrange for community building and tents. Vaccination centres will require more space. The patient will be provided with a dedicated Covid-19 hospital in case of side effects after vaccination. These inputs have been shared by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare with the States as a standard operating procedure (SoP) draft. According to SOP, 5 employees including security personnel will be deployed at a vaccination centre. Three rooms will be arranged for waiting halls, vaccination and surveillance. Every person who has been vaccinated will have to be monitored for 30 minutes in view of the apprehension of any adverse effect. If the patient has a serious impact on vaccination, he will be admitted to the Corona hospital.
