Centre raised Rs 10,000cr fund for providing debt relief to the banks

The centre has announced to relief the debts of the banks, and for this, it has raised the fund of Rs 10,000 crore. Reports allege that cabinet will take the package today. Most of the power projects are left untouched due to lack of buyers.

This will not only relief banks from debts, but it will also levy the servicing debts of the projects. There were total 25 projects, which were approved by the centre but promoters failed to find the buyers.

if the scenario continues, the projects will be categorized under PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) category.
