Jammu, For the unauthorised absence of teachers from their duties, four government school teachers were placed under suspension in Khistwar district. A surprise visit has been conducted by Chief Education officer of Khistwar to the primary school in Bella Chicha area of the district.
An official spokeperson said that, the four teachers were placed under suspension for being absent from duty without seeking prior permission and sanction of leave.
These teachers have been attached by CEO to High School Pathernaki till pending enquiry and constituted a team to enquire into the whole episode.
And also it has been warned by the CEO that teachers to be punctual in future otherwise the case will be referred to the higher authorities for the termination of their services.
