Charter Flight crashed in Columbia, 75 killed

A charter airship carrying Brazil soccer team crashed into Andes Mountains, killing 75 of them on board. Colombian authorities said in the first place that, “the plane suffered an electrical failure but there was also heavy rainfall at the time of the crash". Authorities also said "they were not ruling out the possibility, relayed to rescuers by a surviving flight attendant that the plane ran out of fuel minutes before its scheduled landing at Jose Maria Cordova airport outside Medellin".

As per CNN meteorologist Michael Guy “Satellite images show that scattered showers and thunderstorms had moved across the region over the last 12 hours — though no big storms were nearby."

Reportedly 81 people were assumed to have boarded the flight but later authorities’ informed only 77 people were there as remaining four didn't catch up the flight. The rescue team collected dead bodies from the sight and three people alive. The soccer team which unexpectedly shined and won a spot in the finals of America's most eminent tournaments was on flight for its upcoming event.
