Dantewada: A female Naxalites have been arrested in Dantewada, Naxal-affected district of Chhattisgarh. This Naxalite woman has been arrested from Aranpur Bandipara. Along with the Aranpur police, DRG and CRPF personnel have also played an important role in the arrest of a Naxalite named Podia Mandavi.
While giving information in this case, the police have told that the informers had given information about this Naxalite named Podia Mandavi. These days the martyrdom of Naxalites continues. The Naxalites were celebrating the martyr week in Bandipara meanwhile the police reached there. Seeing the police coming, the remaining Naxals escaped by taking advantage of the forest area. However, Podia came under the grip of the police during this period.
In Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh on July 27, Naxalites killed a soldier of the 22nd Battalion. According to the information, the police was leaving for patrolling from Kariameta police camp in Naxal-affected area of the district. Meanwhile, the Naxals, who were ambushed at some distance from the camp, started indiscriminate firing. In which CAF soldier Jitendra Bagade of the 22nd Battalion was shot in the head and died on the spot.
