Raipur: After knowing about the crime case which has come out recently from Chhattisgarh, your senses will blow away. This case is related to the Balod district of Chhattisgarh. Here, a constable lit a 2-year-old girl with a cigarette, and also pressurized the girl to say 'Papa'. In this case, the accused constable has been arrested. The process of terminating the accused constable has also started as soon as this case comes to light. According to the information received, the Director-General of Police (DGP) of Chhattisgarh has today issued an order to the district police to start the process of terminating the accused constable currently posted in Durg. Speaking in the case, SP Jeetendra Meena of Balod district said, 'The name of the constable accused of burning the child's body with the cigarette is Avinash Rai. He has been arrested by Balod Police from Durg district on Saturday morning.' He also said, "Following the DGP's directions, the process of terminating the constable has been started." In addition, he further said, "The accused constable had gone to Balod last Thursday night. During this time he also went to the place where he lived in a rented house. After that, the accused burnt the body of the woman's child with a cigarette and repeatedly asked her to call him Papa. In this case, the victim's mother had filed a case in the police station last Friday night. Police say the accused is from Durg district and earlier his posting was in Balod district.
