Corona infection rate drops below 2 percent in Chhattisgarh, 459 cases found in last 24 hours

Raipur: After nearly three months of mayhem in Chhattisgarh, the second wave of corona in the state is now on the verge of collapse. According to a health department report, the state's average infection fell below two percent on Sunday. However, the transition rate data in Bastar region has raised the concerns of the administration. The infection in Bastar and Bijapur districts is close to four per cent.

For the first time since the second wave started, the transition rate in the state stood at 1.5 percent last Sunday. In the last 24 hours, 32,428 people have been tested, out of which 459 new cases of corona infection were found. The number of new cases of infection remained in the unit in several districts of the state last Sunday. But bastar district recorded the highest number of 45 new cases. In addition, 37-37 new infected were found in Bijapur and Janjgir-Champa. There are 901 patients in Bastar and 944 active cases in Bijapur.

A total of 6 infected persons have lost their lives in the last 24 hours. All these deaths have taken place in Balodabazar, Gariaband, Raigad, Korba, Janjgir-Champa and Korea districts. Tell me, this is the first time since the second week of March. On an average, the number of corona deaths in the months of April and May has been 160 per day. Earlier, 11 patients lost their lives on June 12.
